Most RNs (67%) See Harder Times Ahead Due to Economy

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -December 4, 2009 - (ASRN.ORG) --In a national online survey conducted by the American Society of Registered Nurses on December 4, 2009, 67% of the Registered Nurses surveyed said they see harder times ahead due to the economy.

In a national survey of 555 Registered Nurses conducted on December 4, 2009, 67% stated that they thought their lives would be "worse off in the coming months" due to the economic climate, while only 33% said it "would be about the same".

This internet survey of 555 Registered Nurses was conducted on December 4, 2009 by the American Society of Registered Nurses (ASRN). The margin of sampling error for the survey is + / - 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
