Scholarships
ASRN Scholarships
The American Society of Registered Nurses administers the following undergraduate nursing scholarships. Nurses are selected annually from each category below.
Deadline:
ASRN Presidential Scholarship - I
This ASRN Presidential Scholarship has been established to recognize full-time nursing students who show excellent promise for a career in nursing.
Eligibility:
Full-time nursing students with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and a demonstrated interest in and aptitude for nursing. Preference will be given to ASRN members.
Stipend:
The stipend is $10,000 (9 months).
Deadline:
ASRN Presidential Scholarship - II
This ASRN Presidential Scholarship has been established to support full-time nursing students who demonstrate financial need.
Eligibility:
Full-time nursing students with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to ASRN members.
Stipend:
The stipend is $10,000 (9 months).
Deadline:
ASRN Presidential Scholarship - III
This ASRN Presidential Scholarship has been established to recognize full-time nursing students who are interested in caring for people living with AIDS and other terminally ill patients.
Eligibility:
Full-time nursing students who have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or above. Preference will be given to ASRN members.
Stipend:
The stipend is $10,000 (9 months).
Deadline:
ASRN Presidential Scholarship - IV
This ASRN Presidential Scholarship has been established to recognize full-time nursing students who are involved in independent scholarship and extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership ability.
Eligibility:
Full-time nursing students who have demonstrated strong leadership through their grades and extracurricular activities. Preference will be given to ASRN members.
Stipend:
The stipend is $10,000 (9 months).
