OBJECT ONE

Excellence in Nursing - Direct Patient Care

To promote exemplary nursing care in the experience between patients and nurses.

Fellowship in this category is granted to nurses that have demonstrated excellence and committment to patient care regardless of the practice setting. A nurse that has advocated for the patient in all aspects of care, and who know and employ nursing process and best practices in giving individual attention to everyone in their care. Excellence embodies exemplary nursing care in the experience between patients and nurses.

OBJECT TWO

Excellence in Teaching - Nursing Education

To recognize excellence in teaching by educators that have advanced the standards of nursing education, training and practice.

Fellowship in this category is granted to nurse educators who have made notable contributions to the profession. Educators in teaching will have a lasting impact on students and classes, be widely recognized and respected, and provide inspiration to nurses in the classroom for the profession.

OBJECT TREE

Excellence in Scientific Research - Nursing Research

To advance the scientific research of nursing to enable future discoveries which will enable better understanding and nursing practices.

Fellowship in this category is granted to nurses, nurse educators and nurse researchers who have made notable contributions through their work in scientific research, literature or writing, and should have a lasting impact, be widely recognized, and provide inspiration to others in the field and the profession. Research areas may include nursing standards, curriculum, management or specialty areas.

OBJECT FOUR

Excellence in Public Service, Government, Industry or Organization - Nursing Leadership

To promote exemplary nursing care in the experience between patients and nurses.
