SAN FRANCISCO CA - August 5, 2009 - (ASRN.ORG) -- In a national online survey conducted by the American Society of Registered Nurses, the general public rates Registered Nurses as either "high" (43%) or "very high" (33%) on the issues of honesty and ethics.

In a nationwide poll of 687 people conducted on August 5, 2009, over 76% rate Registered Nurses high on the issues of honesty and ethics. Only 13% rate them "low" on the issues of honesty and ethics, while 11% rate them "very low".

This internet survey of 687 Registered Nurses was conducted on August 5, 2009 by the American Society of Registered Nurses (ASRN). The margin of sampling error for the survey is + / - 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
