Fifty-Eight Percent (58%) Of RNs Think Patients Are Well Cared For By Nursing Staff

SAN FRANCISCO CA -November 1, 2009 - (ASRN.ORG) --In a national online survey conducted by the American Society of Registered Nurses, 28% of the Registered Nurses surveyed said their patients were "very well" cared for by the rest of the nursing staff, and 30% of those polled said their patients were "adequately" cared for by the rest of the nursing staff.

In a national survey of 701 Registered Nurses conducted on November 1, 2009, 16% said they "not very well" cared for, while 26% polled said that their patients were cared for "terribly".

This internet survey of 701 Registered Nurses was conducted on November 1, 2009 by the American Society of Registered Nurses (ASRN). The margin of sampling error for the survey is + / - 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
