Most of the highest-paying cities for nurses reside on the country’s coastlines, according to an Oct. 2 report.
The report used the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for wage data and the Numbeo Index for cost-of-living data. The national baseline average for cost of living is 100, so a city with a cost of living below 100 indicates a lower cost of living.
Here are the 10 highest-paying cities for nurses, according to the report.

Cost of living index: 89.6
3. Honolulu, HI
Annual salary: $139,260
Hourly wage: $66.95

Hourly wage: $62.65

5. Seattle, WA
Annual salary: $128,260
Hourly wage: $61.66
