That mixture of difficulty within a dream nursing job is what prompted Joyce researchers to study nurse burnout. In a survey of 1000 nurses across the US in 2025, the study found that about three quarters of all nurses surveyed reported feeling “emotionally drained” from their work several times a week.
The early literature that looked at PDE5 inhibitors for women found that these medications improved arousal and orgasm and physiologic parameters of sexual response. It’s just that most women don’t complain of arousal problems. They do have arousal problems; they just have other problems that they are worried about and are more likely to mention.
