Seventy-Five (75%) Of RNs Find It Difficult Or Impossible To Provide Adequate Care To Patients

SAN FRANCISCO CA -November 18, 2009 - (ASRN.ORG) --In a national online survey conducted by the American Society of Registered Nurses, 75% of the Registered Nurses surveyed said they find it either "difficult" or "impossible" to provide adequate care to all of their patients.

In a national online survey of 517 Registered Nurses conducted on November 18, 2009, 44% said they found it "difficult" to provide adequate care of all their patients, while 31% found it "impossible" to provide adequate care to all of their patients. Only 25% of the respondents found it "easy" to provide adequate care to all of their patients.

This internet survey of 517 Registered Nurses was conducted on November 18, 2009 by the American Society of Registered Nurses (ASRN). The margin of sampling error for the survey is + / - 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
